Job Description- Collect business requirements & work on POCs to implement technical solutions;
- Conduct POC demos, review and get the technical designs approved;
- Design/develop APIs to implement technical solutions in accordance with software guidelines & best coding practices;
- Write & document unit test cases for apps developed;
- Perform unit & integration testing to ensure functionality on all connected devices & across all platforms/frameworks;
- Create database scripts required for functionality & execute on servers;
- Perform as a primary lead for production deployments & ensuring smooth transition between infrastructure, development, & QA teams.
- Coach & motivate software engineering team, conduct performance reviews & provide feedback; Set priorities & technical design roadmap, assign & review tasks, review development & support requirements.

- Bachelor’s degree in CompSci, Comp/Electrical Engr, or related technical field & 5yrs progressive post-Bachelor’s software engr exp (will accept Master’s degree in stated fields & 3yrs. software engr exp.)
TECHNICAL
- At least 3yrs exp: designing, developing, & deploying apps on cloud infrastructure using AWS web services; designing & implementing Spring based micro services using open source frameworks, incl Spring, Spring boot, Spring Security, SQL & No-SQL databases;utilizing Java, hibernate, JSON, HTML, CSS, Backbone JS, jQuery, PLSQL & Apache; log monitoring tools, like ELK, Splunk, or Sumologic; & APM tools like new relic;
- At least 2yrs exp: Designing software & product security; troubleshooting memory leaks; debugging resource deadlocks; & performing software architecture analysis;
- At least 1yr exp: React web app development; & integrating hardware with software applications.
Telecommuting benefit: 1 remote flex day per week within commuting distance of the NYC office
Pay Transparency: Min $180K - Max $205K
