JOB DESCRIPTION

Equinox is seeking a Senior Manager of Business Intelligence with exceptional analytical acumen, business intuition, and leadership skills to drive high-impact insights across the Member Experience function.  

As a Sr. Manager within the Business Intelligence team, you will shape the analytical roadmap, identify key growth and optimization opportunities, and influence initiatives across key departments. You will have 6+ years of experience in analytics, consulting, or strategy roles with a proven track record of influencing business outcomes through data. 

This position is based in New York City at our global headquarters in Hudson Yards. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Lead the design and execution of strategic analytics projects that uncover insights and drive business transformation across Member Experience and adjacent functions. 
  • Partner with BI’s senior leadership to frame complex business problems, develop KPIs, and guide data-informed decision-making. 
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of analysts, fostering a culture of curiosity, accountability, and innovation. 
  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling visualizations and narratives for executive audiences. 
  • Oversee the development and automation of scalable reporting frameworks to improve operational efficiency and strategic visibility. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders in marketing, sales, operations, and product to align analytics efforts with business priorities. 
  • Champion data governance and integrity by working closely with the Data Engineering teams to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and consistency of data assets. 
  • Identify and implement best practices in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence tools. 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and proactively recommend emerging analytics capabilities that can provide competitive advantage. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years of experience in Business Intelligence / Analytics / Insights, Strategic Operations or other relevant fields 
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to extract insights from large, complex datasets and build financial/operating models 
  • Skilled at presenting information in digestible, actionable manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders 
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines; desire to be hands-on in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively across cross-functional and executive teams 
  • Eagerness to learn, think strategically and challenge the status quo 
  • Strong Proficiency in programming languages (SQL, Python, etc.), BI tools (e.g., Tableau) and Excel 
  • Experience in consumer/retail industries a plus 

Pay Transparency: Min $155K - Max $170K
