Job DescriptionEquinox seeks a dynamic and highly motivated Senior Manager to join our Treasury team. As Senior Manager, Treasury, you will lead corporate cash management, liquidity planning, and financial risk mitigation and hedging, while ensuring an optimal capital structure and regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate will have excellent financial, analytical, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. The Treasury team works cross functionally to support all aspects of the organization - this individual should be a self-starter who is eager to roll up their sleeves, dive into details and drive decision making through financial analysis. This role reports to our Vice President of Finance and is based at our Park Avenue headquarters in New York City. If interested and qualified, please apply directly to the role online.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily cash operations including movement of cash between business units, wire transfers, optimization of debt costs and bank fees, and cash reporting.
Lead short-term and long-term cash forecasts.
Manage financial risk, including interest rate, foreign exchange, and commodity exposures, and lead hedging strategies to mitigate exposure.
Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions; manage debt facilities and lender compliance requirements.
Provide valuable input on capital structure, investment strategies, and treasury transformation projects.
Manage the investment of excess cash and short-term investment portfolios, balancing yield, liquidity, and capital preservation.
Assist with financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and capital fundraising.
Partner with FP&A and business leaders to support financial planning, budgeting, and strategic decision-making with treasury insights.
Lead system automation and efficiency in treasury tasks.
Ensure all treasury activities comply with internal policies and controls, and regulatory standards.
Mentor high-performing Treasury team, fostering a culture of analytics and collaboration.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or Accounting is required. MBA or CTP preferred.
8+ years of corporate treasury experience, preferably in a multinational organization, with 3+ years in a management role.
Investment banking experience is a plus.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and treasury management systems (TMS).
Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a small team.
Proven analytical, financial modeling and presentation skills with the ability to conduct detailed analyses, tell the story through data, and effectively summarize actionable recommendations.
Must be a proactive self-starter with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and responsibilities.
Results-oriented with strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Must be a team player who understands the importance of the role as a key support function to the organization
Pay Transparency: $150k - $160k
