Job DescriptionThe CRM & Lifecycle Marketing Specialist will support the execution of Equinox's lifecycle marketing programs across email, SMS, push, in-app messaging, and content cards. This role is hands-on and platform-focused, responsible for building campaigns and journeys in Braze, implementing personalization, and ensuring every communication that reaches our members meets a high standard of quality and accuracy.
This role sits within the CRM team and works across both acquisition and Member lifecycle programs, partnering closely with Brand & Member Marketing, Creative, and Data & Analytics to bring campaigns from brief to live send. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and eager to develop deep expertise in marketing technology and lifecycle marketing execution.
Key responsibilities
Build and deploy campaigns and canvases in Braze across email, SMS, push, in-app messaging, and content cards
Implement personalization to tailor content by club, member behavior, and interests, using Braze tools including Liquid, catalogs, and custom attributes
Conduct rigorous QA prior to launch, including links, tracking, personalization logic, audience targeting, and rendering across email clients
Build and maintain audiences, segments, and subscription groups within Braze and our CDP.
Update and optimize live campaigns and journeys as programs evolve
Execute campaigns against the CRM calendar, including accurate campaign tagging, routing for approval from program owners, and scheduling sends on the assigned date
Partner with Brand & Member Marketing and Creative teams to bring campaigns to life in Braze
Support A/B testing execution and pull campaign performance data to inform reporting and optimization
Troubleshoot campaign and data issues in partnership with Data & Analytics teams
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
1-2 years of experience in marketing, CRM, or a related discipline
Interest in marketing technology and enthusiasm for developing expertise in CRM platforms such as Braze
Strong attention to detail with a high bar for accuracy and quality
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Interest in customer engagement, audience segmentation, and campaign performance
Preferred
Hands-on experience with Braze or another ESP or marketing automation platform
Familiarity with a CDP such as Simon Data, Segment, Hightouch
Working knowledge of Liquid, HTML, or a similar templating language
Experience in fitness, wellness, hospitality, or membership-based businesses
Proficiency in AI Tools and workflows (eg. Claude, Chatgpt)
*This role is Monday - Thursday from 10AM - 4PM
Pay Transparency: $45/HR
