The Prodigy

The Search

Get your moment in the spotlight as Equinox hosts The Prodigy, our search for the next generation of Group Fitness talent to join our elite instructors. In Round One, you submit a short video showing off your instructing skills. In Round Two, we pair top trainees with personal mentors to unlock their raw talent and train them harder than ever for the ultimate test: a live performance in NYC. The call is open. The next Prodigy could be you.

Why Equinox?

Group Fitness at Equinox continues to lead the pack. Our instructors are handpicked, second to none, and trained in-house for unparalleled expertise. We treat talent as number one and equip our instructors with everything they need to defy expectations and maximize potential.

Who Should SUBMIT?

Anyone who believes they’ve got what it takes. You should be prepared to teach Cardio or Strength (sorry, no Cycling, Yoga, Pilates or Dance), live within 30 miles of an Equinox club, and have never taught for or be currently employed by Equinox.

See the FAQ below for more details and video requirements.

What is the opportunity?

In Equinox's second annual talent search, top candidates will be on the fast track to high performance with a month of one-on-one development with our mentors, and a select group will make the final cut: a 4-day professional development immersion at our headquarters in NYC.
